FAQs

Where can I park?

There is no designated patron parking or shuttle service this year.

There is free on-street parking throughout the city within walking distance of the Festival grounds, however please note that some parking areas are designated at a 3-hour maximum. There are also pay lots around town. As parking in Edmonds is limited, we recommend planning ahead or consider taking public transportation. Get more information on parking here.

Is the Festival wheelchair accessible?

The Frances Anderson Center and Edmonds Plaza areas are wheelchair accessible via entrance ramps.  Inside the Frances Anderson Center ramps are available up to the second floor and an elevator is available to gain access to the lower level.  Please use the designated parking spots near the center off of Main Street. A ramp from Main Street on the east end of the Frances Anderson Center can be used to gain access to the artist booths on the playfield. The terrain on the playfield is uneven and the grass can make it difficult to maneuver a wheelchair.

Can I bring my dog?

No. Per City of Edmonds Municipal Code 5.05.060A, dogs are prohibited from entering playgrounds, spraygrounds, athletic fields (ie Frances Anderson Field), and public beaches.  Furthermore, no pets are allowed inside the Frances Anderson Center building.

Trained service animals to aid with a disability are welcome to attend with their owners. Service animals need to be wearing their “working vests” so they can be easily identified. No emotional support animals or pets are permitted.

Please leave your dog at home.

How will I be able to find my favorite artists’ booths?

Artists’ booths are listed both in the Festival program and on the website. You can get programs at the Information Booth, which is located on the west end of the Field, adjacent to the Festival Store and on the Edmonds Arts Plaza.

How can I locate the work of a particular artist in the Gallery?

There will be a list of the artists and their works inside the Frances Anderson Center and on the Festival website.

Can I gather signatures for a petition at the Festival?

Yes. Protected speech, including signature gathering, is a right that cannot be restricted on public property. The Festival Association will permit citizens attending the Edmonds Arts Festival to exercise their protected constitutional right to free speech in a designated area on the Festival grounds.

What is NOT allowed is blocking ingress/egress or the free movement of pedestrians, harassing or intimidating anyone, use of sound amplified devices, or any criminal activity (assault, etc).

Please check in at the Festival Information Booth to go over the rules and be directed to the areas of the Festival grounds where this activity is allowed.
