Volunteer!

Volunteer sign-up for the 2025 Edmonds Arts Festival is now open!

Volunteers fill a myriad of jobs during the Festival, including checking in the juried art, helping sell art during the Festival, staffing the information booth, delivering food to the artists, checking in volunteers, and more. You can sign up to volunteer in areas that are interesting to you. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older or 16/17 with a parent or adult sibling supervising.

To Volunteer

When you select from the list below, you are taken to that volunteer list on our online app, SignUpGenius:

  • Click Sign Up under the Volunteer description to access that SignUpGenius list.

  • In SignUpGenius, click the Sign Up button next to the time slot that you wish to fill.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the SignUpGenius page and click Submit and Sign Up. Your volunteer registration will not be completed unless you click Submit and Sign Up.

  • If you have a SignUpGenius account, enter your account information and proceed to sign up.

  • If you don't have an account, complete the information under I do not have a SignUpGenius account (including Additional Info).

  • Artists Booths

    Help with the physical setup of the Festival. Supervise a booth when the artist needs a break. Help with the breakdown of the field after the Festival. Please bring your cellphone.

  • Edmonds Arts Plaza

    Assist artists and directors in booth set up and/or pack up and clean up tasks.

  • Festival Store

    Sell Festival branded items. Collect cash and checks, process credit card payment using the iPad Square, and use the cash register.

  • Gallery Art

    Check in the art in preparation for the installation of the gallery art. Some volunteers will work as hosts when people arrive in the gallery art area. Collect cash, checks, and process electronic payments on the iPad for art sales.

  • Hospitality

    Cut fruit and vegetables to go into snack/lunch boxes. Help deliver the boxes to the artists in their booths. Help with coffee, water, and lemonade refills in dispensers.

  • Information Booth

    Answer general questions and give directions to our Festival visitors. Hand out the Festival map/program. Some volunteers will serve as booth relief to give artists a short break.

  • Kids Create

    Oversee craft station. Assist and inspire young artists create fun craft projects that they can take home. All supplies and instructions provided.

    Assist Performing Arts Directors.

    Help hang or breakdown the Student Art Exhibit; host a Gallery room.

  • Volunteer Check-In

    Work in the volunteer tent on the Frances Anderson Center field. Check off the names of volunteers as they arrive for their shifts. Give out volunteer shirts, maps, and name tags. Direct volunteers to their work assignment.
